The Department of Commerce and Management Studies was established in 2001 with Bachelors in Commerce (B. Com) program and Post-Graduation course in Commerce (M. Com) was started in 2015. The beauty of commerce is in its diversity. It exposes students to a number of disciplines, providing a unique opportunity to broaden their horizon. It exposes and enables the students to select a field of their choice from a wide range of career paths. It provides a fair level of knowledge relating to business laws, including tax laws, maths and statistics, economics, finance, marketing, human resource management, and of course, accounting and auditing.

Progamme Offered



B.Com


Bachelor of Commerce is a 3 years/6 Semester degree course designed to provide a student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time, build competence in a particular area of business studies. Through this course the student enriches their mental aptitude & ability to understand the various aspects of commerce.


Eligibility: At least 33% in 10+2 Examination of UP/ CBSE /Other Board in any discipline.



M.Com


Master of Commerce is a 2 Years/4 Semester Postgraduate Degree course focusing on commerce, management, economics, communication & other emerging subjects. After doing M. Com student can get a job in reputed companies or can opt for higher education. It also provides practical exposure to the student by hands on training in the industry.


Eligibility: Graduation in Commerce or management stream / B.A with Economics as compulsory subject from UGC affiliated University.
