The Department of Science was established in 2019 with Bachelors in Science (Math and Bio group) program and Bachelors in Microbiology course was introduced in 2022. The beauty of commerce is in its diversity which exposes students to a number of disciplines. Science, is any system of knowledge that is concerned with the physical world and its phenomena and that entails unbiased observations and systematic experimentation. In general, a science involves a pursuit of knowledge covering general truths or the operations of fundamental laws.

Progamme Offered

B.Sc (NEP) - 3 year (6 Semester) program with Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Maths, Chemistry and Physics as Major/Minor Elective

Bachelor of Commerce is a 3 years/6 Semester degree course designed to provide a student with a wide range of managerial skillBasic Sciences help us to explain, how pre-existing things functions or why things happen. In this department, students will learn about sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Computers) by the experts, highly qualified and experienced teachers. It is a 3 Years/6 Semester course. After doing B.Sc, students can enter in every field of higher Education, Technical, Non-technical, Research field and also get a better job everywhere in the society.

Eligibility: At least 40% in 10+2 Examination of UP/ CBSE /Other Board in any discipline.

B.Sc. (Microbiology) – 3 year Annual course

B.Sc. (Microbiology) is a 3 year degree course. This course provides detailed study of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses. These tiny microbes are vital in understanding life on earth, including human and animal diseases, food production and environment

Microbiologists generally work in some way to increase scientific knowledge or to utilise that knowledge in a way that improves outcomes in medicine or some industry. Microbiologists will continue to be needed to advance basic science knowledge and to contribute to development of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products.

Eligibility: At least 40% in 10+2 Examination of UP/ CBSE /Other Board in any discipline with Biology as one of the subject.

1. Physics Lab

Well-equipped lab with dark room & EM facilities. Labs are equipped with ZEEMAN effect, Newton Ring, Polarimeter, Spectrometer, Travelling Microscope, Cathode Ray Oscilloscope (CRO), transistors, various type of diodes, frequency generator, bar pendulum, Fly wheel, Keters pendulam, sonometer, electrically maintained tuning fork, LASER, Potentiometer, Induction Bridge, Induction Coil, Ballistic Galvanometer, LCR frequency, RC & TC coupled amplifier.

2. Zoology Lab

Well-equipped lab containing latest modern equipment like electronic balance , UV spectrophotometer, electronic pH meter, Glucometer, Haemometer, Haemocytometer, Sphygmomanometer, Light Microscopes, Zoological specimens, Models and Charts, Mammals and Amphibians Bone Assembly, Human Skeleton etc.

3. Chemistry Lab

Spacious well equipped lab fitted with the latest equipment such as hot air oven, muffle furnace, electric vaccum filter pumps, electrical centrifugal machines, electrical melting point apparatus, digital conductivity bridge, digital pH-meter, electrical shakers etc.

4. Botany Lab

Well-equipped lab containing latest modern equipment like Laminar Air Flow (LAF), Autoclave, Centrifuge, Research Microscopes, electronic balance , UV spectrophotometer, electronic pH meter, biological specimens etc.

5. Microbiology Lab

A microbiology laboratory is a laboratory devoted to the culturing, examination, and identification of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi, yeasts, etc. The microbiology laboratory has a crucial role in effective infection prevention and control (IPC). Our lab is equipped with high end centralized instruments such as PCR ThermoCycler, Laminar Air Flow (LAF), Mini Centrifuge, Bacteriological Incubator, Refrigerated Micro Centrifuge, Magnetic stirrer with hot plate, Micro wave oven, Microscopes with camera, UV Transilluminator, Deep Freezer, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Unit, Incubator Shaker with water bath, Electronic Weighting Machine, Vortex, Heating Mantle, Rotary shaker, pH meter, Orbital Shaker Incubator, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer , Autoclave, B.
